Clinical Research Manager

Provider of cancer and blood disorder treatments in Southwest Ohio, with oncology care centers and a nationally recognized clinical research program.

What you will do

• Supervise clinical research staff and coordinate research activities with affected practice departments.
• Coach and develop staff, participate in hiring and performance management, and enforce company policies.
• Develop research accountability standards, metrics, and reports while implementing operational and quality improvement plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, the site research leader, and research management on study selection.
• Support the development of research budgets, financial objectives, and accrual targets.
• Promote the research program and coordinate activities with external bases or sponsors when needed.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a clinical or scientific discipline.
• At least five years of clinical nursing experience or experience in a related scientific discipline, preferably in oncology.
• Current registered nurse licensure where required by the state of practice, plus current BCLS or ACLS certification for nurses.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical medicine, diagnostic tests, radiology, pathology, pharmacology, hematology, oncology, and clinical trials.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, multitasking, and computer skills, including Windows and Excel.
• Full-time, 40-hour work schedule in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Nice to have

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Supervisory and clinical research experience.
• SoCRA or ARCP certification.
• Knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.
