Tax Manager (Real Estate)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, USA; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $92,000–$146,340 per year

What you will do

• Provide tax, accounting, and advisory services to real estate clients.
• Review accounting records and reports, provide analysis and consultation, and discuss business matters with clients.
• Manage client relationships, resolve issues, and support research and delivery of additional services.
• Delegate and oversee engagement work, set goals and deadlines, and remove delivery obstacles.
• Support engagement staffing, billing, collections, and client profitability targets.
• Mentor and develop team members while building internal, external, and community relationships.

Requirements

• Four-year degree.
• CPA, EA, or law license.
• At least five years of experience.
• Experience providing tax services in a professional services firm and working with real estate clients.
• At least two years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, communication, software, and Microsoft Suite skills.
