Fabrication Mechanic - Marking Operator (Aerospace)

Location: 03246 93 Lexington Drive, Laconia, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite, full-time position with 1st and 2nd shift options.

Second-shift employees receive a $1.00 pay differential.

What you will do

• Interpret engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements.
• Apply Electro-Etch, laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, and ink markings to parts, test pieces, and assemblies.
• Scan barcodes or manually enter identification data into the computer.
• Transfer ink markings onto part surfaces and prepare aluminum tags before assembly.
• Install aluminum and stainless-steel tags on parts, hoses, and tubes.
• Apply and secure shrink sleeves over markings when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training is acceptable.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are required.
• Reliable, regular, and punctual attendance is required.
