What you will do

• Plan IT audit projects, coordinate information-gathering meetings, and research audit topics.
• Propose audit approaches, objectives, audit programs, and test plans for manager approval.
• Perform IT audit testing, analyze processes, risks, and controls, and document work using narratives, flowcharts, and risk-control matrices.
• Draft formal audit reports and presentations for the Board Audit Committee, management teams, and other committees.
• Develop and communicate recommendations, identify control weaknesses, and support audit follow-up activities.
• Collaborate with audit clients and internal IT partners using consultative, communication, conflict-resolution, and negotiation skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor certification is required or must be obtained within 2 years in the position.
• Either 3+ years of experience in IT internal auditing, or an associate’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or an equivalent field with 5+ years of experience in IT internal auditing, Information Systems, or Information Security, plus an applicable certification such as CISSP or CISA.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Additional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CFE.
• Experience with AuditBoard, data analytics, and visualization tools.
• Working knowledge of COBIT, GAIT Principles, COSO, ISO 27000, NIST, PCI DSS, or NACHA.
• Knowledge of the nonprofit industry, hirify.global, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
• Knowledge of systems used at hirify.global or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
• Understanding of internal auditing concepts, IT general controls, Agile methodologies, cybersecurity, cloud, network architecture, IT governance, and IT risk management and assessment.
