Scientist, Process Analytics (Biotherapeutics)

Location: On-premise in Bothell, Washington, United States. Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States.

Annual base salary: $79,400–$132,400, plus eligibility for a 7.5% bonus target.

What you will do

• Support analytical testing for process development of antibody–drug conjugates and monoclonal antibodies.
• Perform routine testing of in-process samples and support pre-formal stability activities.
• Support biotherapeutics process development activities under general instructions and moderate supervision.
• Compile analytical data and prepare presentations.
• Contribute to laboratory automation development and related initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience with analytical techniques including UPLC, CGE, and icIEF.
• Hands-on laboratory experience and a strong background in experimental design and result interpretation.
• Independent problem-solving, documentation, verbal and written communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with scientific software, Microsoft Office, word processing, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• In-process analytical support experience for antibody–drug conjugates or monoclonal antibodies.
• Experience with SE-UPLC, mass spectrometry, liquid-handling robotics, or related software.
• Digital skills or coding knowledge in Python or C#.
• Experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to support problem solving and workflows.
