Salary: $96,500–$183,500 gross annual base pay, plus eligibility for short-term incentive programs.

What you will do

• Develop and execute chemical processes supporting clinical development of potential therapies.
• Work with small molecules, antibody drug conjugates, peptides, and oligonucleotides.
• Conduct process chemistry research and method development with high autonomy.
• Resolve project hurdles through creative scientific research and development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners.
• Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at scientific conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Organic Chemistry with typically 10+ years of experience for a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years for a master’s degree, or 0+ years for a PhD.
• Thorough theoretical and practical understanding of the relevant scientific discipline.
• Broad expertise in modern synthetic organic chemistry, compound purification, and spectral analysis and interpretation.
• Ability to search chemical literature and evaluate solutions to synthetic problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with peptides, bioconjugation, biocatalysis, AI/ML, or oligonucleotides.
