Manager, Healthcare Technology & Cyber Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based in St. Louis, United States, with work in local hirify.global offices and on client sites; local or out-of-state travel may be required.

Salary: $121,000–$192,000 per year, plus a 12% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $135,520–$215,040.

What you will do

• Advise healthcare organizations on technology risk, cybersecurity, compliance, resilience, and secure digital transformation.
• Assess and mitigate risks across security, identity, infrastructure, applications, data, enterprise systems, and third-party ecosystems.
• Support data protection and privacy initiatives involving HIPAA and protected health information.
• Address security operations, threat detection, ransomware, medical device security, EHR vulnerabilities, disaster recovery, and incident response.
• Build trusted client relationships, deliver forward-looking solutions, and contribute to proposals and go-to-market strategies.
• Lead project delivery, mentor team members, and support account growth and thought leadership.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, consulting, or a related field in professional services or healthcare.
• Healthcare industry knowledge and understanding of IT, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, clinical, operational, and financial controls.
• Knowledge of healthcare cybersecurity risks, including ransomware, medical device security, EHR vulnerabilities, and third-party risk.
• Understanding of HIPAA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, HITRUST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, and related requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, accounting, finance, economics, or a related business field.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations, documentation, team leadership, and project management.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI, automation, governance, security, and emerging technology risk.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, or RPA solutions.
• Professional certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or a similar credential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.
