Data Analyst (Capital Markets Migration)

What you will do

• Translate business stakeholder requirements into structured data analysis and validation tasks.
• Analyze legacy and target datasets supporting migration and transformation across custody, clearing and settlement, derivatives processing, and CCP operations.
• Define and execute data validation and reconciliation procedures to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Document ETL processes, data mappings, schemas, and transformation logic.
• Write complex SQL queries for large datasets and support dashboards, reports, downstream analytics, and data visualization.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to identify data gaps and align business rules with technical implementation.

Requirements

• Experience in capital markets, including custody, clearing and settlement, derivatives, or CCP operations.
• 3+ years of experience working with large data volumes and diverse data formats.
• Strong SQL experience for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, reporting, business intelligence, schema design, data modeling, and data mapping.
• Ability to translate business requirements into structured tasks for technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with data migration or system transformation programs.
• Familiarity with AWS data services, including AWS Glue.
• Experience with dbt or similar transformation tools.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
