Internship: Processing Engineering / Upgrades Project Engineering

Location: Cuautitlán, Mexico; onsite work and commuting to the site required 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 2 pm.

What you will do

• Support the finalization, optimization, and documentation of project-hours calculation tools.
• Organize calculation methodologies, engineering templates, and project knowledge.
• Create quick-reference guides, best practices, and standardized documentation for processing and upgrades projects.
• Perform basic and medium-sized engineering calculations for motors, pumps, valves, and piping used in liquid food processing machines.
• Validate engineering documentation and templates for customer delivery and support accurate project quotations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on process improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives; selected customer visits are expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor's studies in progress in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Food Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Expected graduation in December 2027 or later.
• Availability for the full internship program from January 18 to December 13, 2027.
• Proactive, disciplined, analytical, organized, communicative, and self-organized approach.
• Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word proficiency; AutoCAD knowledge is relevant. Basic Power BI knowledge is required for the upgrades track.
• English proficiency is required: advanced for Processing Engineering and intermediate for Upgrades Project Engineering.

Nice to have

• Previous engineering internship experience.
• SAP knowledge.
• Interest in artificial intelligence and automation tools.
