Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Remote in Colombia, Mexico, or Uruguay

What you will do

• Translate business and operational questions into analytical problems and actionable decisions.
• Design, develop, integrate, and deploy analytical and machine learning solutions.
• Design experiments and measure the impact of initiatives on NPS, cost, food waste, product availability, and other indicators.
• Build and evaluate LLM-based solutions that provide cabin crew with real-time procedures and operational information.
• Define and standardize product and business metrics with product and operations stakeholders.
• Document and ensure responsible, traceable use of data while improving analytical practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar applied analytics role.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, including Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of statistics, inference, experimental design, A/B testing, and applied causal inference.
• Experience building predictive models from exploration through deployment and working with a cloud data warehouse; BigQuery is preferred.
• Understanding of MLflow, Docker, version control, and CI/CD concepts.
• Fluent Spanish and intermediate English for documentation and international collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Statsmodels, SciPy, Polars, or Pyfixest.
• Practical experience with LLM-based solutions and their evaluation.
• Experience with Looker Studio or a similar BI tool.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
