Product Owner Consultant (Insurance)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; hybrid work with attendance at the client’s office at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Lead the definition, design, prioritization, and implementation of a new GMM / Major Medical Expenses product.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, roadmap, and functional requirements.
• Enable the product across digital channels, including quoting, issuance, self-service, claims, and renewals.
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements for development, architecture, and QA teams.
• Coordinate with Technology, Actuarial, Operations, Claims, Finance, Legal, Customer Experience, and Commercial teams.
• Drive agile delivery and support successful technical and operational implementation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product development or product management experience in the insurance industry, specifically GMM / Major Medical Expenses.
• Experience leading digital transformation or technical implementation projects in insurance.
• Knowledge of insurance operations, customer journeys, and digital platforms.
• Experience with Scrum, SAFe, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to connect business and technology teams.
• Spanish required; intermediate English required.
