Operations Support Specialist (Cell Therapy)

Location: Onsite in Raritan, New Jersey, United States; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The role requires first-shift work from Sunday through Wednesday, with evenings, weekends, and unplanned overtime as needed.

Salary: $47,861–$62,819 USD per year, plus performance-based bonus and/or equity for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Perform cell culture, purification, aseptic processing, and cryopreservation according to SOPs and batch records.
• Record production data clearly and complete manufacturing tasks according to shift schedules.
• Follow safety policies, quality systems, cGMP requirements, and FDA guidance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and external partners in a cross-functional environment.
• Support manufacturing process development, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Handle human-derived biological materials and hazardous chemicals in a BSL-2 cleanroom facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 years of operations experience in a cGMP biotech or biopharma environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance for manufacturing cell-based products.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, follow procedures, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform computer and documentation work.
• Ability to work onsite in Raritan, accommodate shift work and unplanned overtime, and handle materials in a BSL-2 cleanroom.
