Biotechnologist I (Nights - A Shift)

Location: On-site in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States. Rotational night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; the first two weeks are spent in orientation and training on the day shift.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment and processes, including Clean-in-Place and Steam-in-Place operations.
• Perform basic laboratory work, including pH and conductivity monitoring and product sampling.
• Transfer raw materials and chemicals accurately across production areas.
• Document production activities according to Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices.
• Maintain clean, organized facilities and equipment, complete sanitization tasks, and support 6S programs.
• Maintain task qualifications and training plans while participating in shift exchanges, meetings, email, and other administrative duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Comfort with asking questions and following Standard Operating Procedures strictly.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate task execution.
• Ability to work a rotational 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule, including nights and weekends.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
• Experience in a GMP, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical environment.
