Engineer I Product Compliance

Location: Quezon City, Manila, Philippines; hybrid setup with on-site work three times per week. Mid-shift schedule: 2pm to 11pm.

What you will do

• Assess product bills of materials for customer requests.
• Evaluate products against global environmental legislation, including EU REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, and Proposition 65.
• Issue declaration letters for products that have been fully assessed.
• Contact suppliers to obtain material declarations and verify their submissions before system entry.
• Meet regularly with business unit points of contact to review action registries, compliance status, and targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or an equivalent field.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of materials, chemicals, and environmental laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
