Pediatric Visiting Professor

Location: Sacramento, California, USA. The institution operates on a hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday through Thursday.

What you will do

• Teach pediatric nursing students through clinical experiences and, when assigned, didactic course content.
• Plan clinical assignments and provide direct supervision, evaluation, remediation, and documented feedback.
• Coordinate with clinical agencies and maintain current knowledge of their policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Grade and return student coursework, clinical documentation, examinations, and laboratory assignments.
• Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, retention initiatives, and campus policies.
• Collaborate with administrators, staff, faculty, and clinical partners to improve student satisfaction and college operations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing.
• At least two years of direct patient-care experience in the assigned clinical specialty or content area.
• Professional nurse licensure in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication skills, initiative, and prudent judgment.
• Ability to support safe, effective, and evidence-based nursing instruction.
