Process Engineering Co-op (MedTech)

What you will do

• Complete projects that improve process efficiency, reduce cycle time and costs, and increase execution quality.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma process excellence methodologies to manufacturing operations.
• Optimize manufacturing processes and maintain product and process documentation.
• Test and validate equipment, processes, raw materials, and products.
• Support concepts and designs for new products, processes, and test methods.
• Present business issues and improvement opportunities to management.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Science, Engineering, or Business at an accredited college or university.
• At least two years of completed studies and good academic standing.
• 0–2 years of work experience.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify and solve problems, prioritize multiple commitments, and work with limited supervision.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Previous internship, co-op, or academic research experience.
• Extracurricular experience in a student association or organization.
• Experience with short- and long-term project management.
