Sr. SAP Basis Consultant (m/f/d)

Location: Poing, Germany; hybrid work with one office day per week. Mobile working is available, along with working abroad for up to 10 days per year.

What you will do

• Manage, maintain, and optimize complex SAP system landscapes for availability, performance, and stability.
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and monitor SAP systems and related infrastructure.
• Manage transports and system modifications across SAP environments.
• Operate SAP ERP, SAP EWM, SAP GTS, SAP BW/BW4HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP HCM, and SAP Solution Manager/Cloud ALM.
• Monitor system performance and capacity, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues.
• Coordinate lifecycle activities and collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of professional experience in SAP technical administration, preferably with a strong SAP Basis background.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, HR, NetWeaver, BW/BW4HANA, BTP, Cloud Connector, Fiori/Gateway, Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Web Dispatcher, and Business Objects Platform.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and architecture, plus practical experience with Unix, Linux, and Windows.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent German and English communication skills, written and spoken, are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud or RISE with SAP.
• SAP certifications.
• Hyperscaler certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
