Salary: $60,966–$85,694 per year

What you will do

  • Provide quality oversight across production, laboratories, warehousing, storage, facilities, and utilities.
  • Monitor weighing and dispensing, solution and component preparation, in-process controls, filling, lyophilization, finishing, packaging, and sampling activities.
  • Act as the primary QA contact on the shop floor, providing real-time documentation guidance and troubleshooting support.
  • Identify critical deviations, stop production when necessary, contain affected materials or products, and escalate systemic issues to site management.
  • Support investigations, root-cause analyses, CAPAs, validation studies, media fills, repackaging, reworking, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Review master batch records and logbooks for GMP and procedural compliance, and participate in 5S activities.

Requirements

  • Experience or knowledge in quality assurance within a regulated pharmaceutical production environment.
  • Ability to apply SOPs and cGMP requirements across manufacturing and support processes.
  • Ability to assess deviations, recommend corrective action, escalate issues, and support CAPA development.
  • Ability to perform or oversee visual inspection, integrity testing verification, sampling, and documentation review.
  • Ability to work onsite in Wilson, North Carolina, with regular shop-floor presence.
