Java Developer (Banking)

What you will do

• Develop and support large, complex Java and J2EE middleware applications.
• Build user interfaces for front-end automation processes.
• Design solutions using enterprise frameworks such as Struts, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Coordinate and support complex projects, product upgrades, deployments, and new capabilities.
• Deliver full-life-cycle projects in both Waterfall and Agile environments.
• Lead collaboration within a global delivery model and communicate solutions clearly.

Requirements

• Experience with Java, J2EE middleware applications, Unix, SQL, JDBC, SOAP/RESTful web services, and XML.
• Experience with DB2 Mainframe and Midrange, Oracle 12c, and Exadata database technologies.
• Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Experience using source code control, code-quality tools, debugging, and profiling tools.
• Ability to solve problems, conduct research, and derive solution opportunities.
• Ability to work in Charlotte, NC, United States.

Nice to have

• IBM WebSphere Portal experience.
• Financial services, marketing, or insights experience.
• DevOps experience and knowledge of Apache Camel or MuleSoft ESB.
• Secure programming practices and enterprise change-control processes.
• Knowledge of Hadoop, HBase, MemSQL, or similar emerging technologies.
