TL;DR
PL/SQL Developer (Oracle): Designing and maintaining physical database solutions, analyzing requirements, and working with business partners and solution consultants on functional requirements, defect resolution, and code changes with an accent on SQL, Oracle, and technical analysis. Focus on understanding database and application changes, supporting unit testing, and collaborating with virtual teams in a hybrid environment.
Location: Pleasanton, Pasadena, or Lake Oswego, California; hybrid work with on-site availability 1–2 days per week.

What you will do
- Analyze business and functional requirements.
- Create and maintain physical database designs.
- Work with business partners and solution consultants to gather requirements and create designs.
- Review application code and databases to determine required changes.
- Investigate and resolve defects.
- Communicate effectively across multiple formats and virtual teams.
Requirements
- Experience with PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle.
- Working knowledge of Java and Perl.
- Strong critical analysis and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Quality Center.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability to work on site 1–2 days per week in Pleasanton, Pasadena, or Lake Oswego, California.
Nice to have
- Medicare industry background.
- Software development and testing experience.
- Ability to develop and execute unit test cases.
