Core Java Developer (Market Risk)

Location: Charlotte, NC; local candidates only. A second-round in-person interview is required.

What you will do

• Develop server-side applications using Core Java.
• Build solutions for market risk analytics applications.
• Support implementation of Fundamental Review of Trading Book regulations.
• Design and develop high-quality software using object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Design and use efficient database objects in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Collaborate through clear communication, active participation, and proactive clarification of requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of development experience with Core Java and server-side applications.
• Proficiency in Core Java, JDBC, object-oriented design, development best practices, and design patterns.
• Experience with Eclipse IDE, SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience developing in Windows and Linux environments.
• Must be a local candidate able to attend the second-round in-person interview in Charlotte, NC.

Nice to have

• Market data experience or knowledge.
• Distributed computing experience with DataSynapse or IBM Symphony.
• Experience with distributed caching technologies such as Oracle Coherence.
• Multi-threaded programming experience.
