Fabrication Mechanic - Marking (1st & 2nd Shift Available)

Location: On-site in Laconia, New Hampshire, United States; 1st and 2nd shift schedules available.

What you will do

• Read engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements.
• Mark materials, test pieces, parts, and assemblies using electro-etch, laser, vibro-peen, dot-peen, or ink methods.
• Scan barcodes or manually enter identification requirements into the computer.
• Transfer ink markings onto part surfaces and prepare aluminum tags before assembly.
• Apply aluminum tags, assemble stainless-steel tags onto hoses and tubes, and install shrink sleeves when required.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training may qualify.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, factory orders, and production routers.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Consistent, regular, and punctual attendance.
