RBS Trainee Non-Food Products Advisor

Location: Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Hybrid work arrangement may vary by affiliate country, with availability to work onsite for 2 to 6 months.

What you will do

• Prepare, review, question, and approve pack copy and product specifications using supplier information.
• Verify compliance with current and pending EU and UK legislation, codes of practice, client requirements, and industry guidelines.
• Provide regulatory advice to clients, suppliers, internal teams, design agencies, print houses, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor developments, trends, and guidance affecting the non-food and consumer products industry.
• Develop technical sign-off checklists and review regulatory work to reduce errors and compliance risks.
• Create working instructions, train and cross-train advisory staff, and onboard junior advisors and technologists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Technical background with an understanding of test methods and technical reports.
• Understanding of consumer protection legislation.
• Strong organisational, time-management, prioritisation, communication, and IT skills.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
• Proactive approach to learning, with flexibility and the ability to contribute as a team member and leader.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate qualification in regulatory affairs, quality management, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications in compliance or quality assurance.
• Experience with regulatory software, digital compliance tools, regulatory affairs, product quality, change management, or process improvement.
• Experience training and mentoring technical teams or working with large retailers and multinational brands.
