Legal Counsel

Location: Quezon City, Manila, Philippines; onsite legal support required

What you will do

• Provide general legal and compliance advice to business leaders across Asia Pacific jurisdictions outside China.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and approve vendor, customer, procurement, sales, NDA, service, and consultancy agreements.
• Support commercial business units, including the SaaS business, as contracts counsel.
• Support M&A transactions, dispute and litigation management, compliance training, and external counsel supervision.
• Develop and implement data privacy policies, processes, programs, tools, and incident response activities for relevant jurisdictions.
• Provide onsite legal support to hirify.global Philippines, including corporate housekeeping and labor matters.

Requirements

• LL.B., J.D., or equivalent degree and a licensed attorney qualification.
• More than 5 years of experience providing general legal support as external or in-house counsel.
• Experience in contract review, legal drafting, corporate legal advisory, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and other relevant legislation.
• Knowledge of commercial operations, practical legal advice, policy formulation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently with strong honesty and integrity.
