Associate Consultant Compliance (Sanctions)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States. Full-time, onsite role. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $64,125–$105,925 USD per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Review and assess escalated wire transactions flagged by sanctions screening systems.
• Determine whether transactions comply with OFAC and other applicable sanctions programs.
• Conduct quality control reviews of sanctions screening activities and internal procedures.
• Advise business partners on sanctions compliance requirements, regulatory changes, and applicable standards.
• Identify sanctions risks and consult management on complex or sensitive investigations.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects while applying basic project management skills.

Requirements

• Exposure to AML, risk, compliance, sanctions, or general banking operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in changing environments with minimal formal structure.
• Knowledge of financial crimes and the ability to handle large-scope, technically difficult, cross-functional activities.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment-based visa sponsorship is not available.
