Licensed Practical Nurse - Part Time Day Shift - Assisted Living

What you will do

• Administer medications in compliance with federal and state regulations and established guidelines.
• Complete resident admissions, assessments, discharges, care plans, service plans, and clinical documentation.
• Track clinical matters such as wounds and infection control under director supervision.
• Provide health-related consultation and educate residents and staff.
• Notify physicians and family members about changes in residents’ health and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate closely with departments and staff.

Requirements

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program.
• At least 1 year of experience in senior care or a related field.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Acceptable English proficiency for job duties, workplace communication, and emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks safely under pressure.
