Chinese Multi-Disciplined Language Analyst (Level 1-4)

What you will do

• Process voice and graphic language materials in support of SIGINT operations.
• Perform cryptologic language analysis for Department of Defense and intelligence community missions.
• Recover essential elements of information from source materials.
• Translate and transcribe complex written and spoken Chinese material.
• Produce concise gists of straightforward factual written and spoken material.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Chinese language proficiency at the applicable Interagency Language Roundtable level: Level 1 requires ILR 2+ in listening and reading; Levels 2–3 require ILR 3 in listening or reading; Level 4 requires ILR 3 in both listening and reading.
• Level 1: High school diploma and 2 years of experience.
• Level 2: High school diploma and 6 years of experience, or associate degree and 4 years of experience.
• Level 3: High school diploma and 14 years of experience, or bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience.
• Level 4: High school diploma and 19 years of experience, or bachelor's degree and 15 years of experience.
