High Throughput Method Development Engineer (Biotechnology)

Location: Rahway, New Jersey, United States; candidates must be within a commutable distance. Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.

Salary: $30–$31 per hour

What you will do

• Execute high-throughput process development experiments with BSL-1 and BSL-2 biological agents and viruses.
• Operate and maintain Tecan and Hamilton laboratory automation systems for screening experiments, including coding and scripting.
• Perform cell-based assays, biochemical testing, HPLC, and development of new assays as needed.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and culture media.
• Analyze, track, collate, and report experimental data to client staff.
• Maintain GMP records, document work accurately, and communicate results clearly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in bioengineering, chemical engineering, or a related engineering concentration.
• At least one year of laboratory experience with mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays, and aseptic technique.
• Hands-on automation experience with Tecan and Hamilton systems, including coding or scripting.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, learn new techniques, and follow GMP and company procedures.
