TL;DR
Business Analytics Specialist (Databricks/dbt): Defining and evolving the end-to-end data architecture, pipelines, semantic layers, and KPI frameworks supporting global Customer Support operations with an accent on scalable lakehouse design, dimensional modeling, and data governance. Focus on designing high-volume ingestion and distributed processing, establishing reusable analytical models, and ensuring metric consistency, traceability, performance, and reliability.
Location: Bogotá, Colombia; hybrid workplace

's Global Metrics team builds the data architecture and analytical foundations supporting Customer Support operations worldwide.
What you will do
- Own and evolve the Bronze, Silver, and Gold architecture for the Global Metrics ecosystem.
- Design scalable integrations across APIs, cloud storage, SaaS platforms, enterprise data platforms, and managed ingestion tools.
- Build dimensional, relational, OLAP, and semantic data models for dashboards, analytics, AI, and reporting.
- Design and optimize Databricks and dbt pipelines for large-scale datasets and high-volume data ingestion.
- Define KPI frameworks, business rules, analytical entities, naming conventions, and data governance standards.
- Partner with Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Security, Platform, vendors, and technical stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Architecture, Business Intelligence Architecture, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, dbt, advanced SQL, dimensional modeling, lakehouse or data warehouse architectures, and semantic layers.
- Experience designing scalable analytical data solutions, data integration patterns, and optimized data pipelines.
- Experience with large-scale datasets and high-volume data ingestion is required.
- Experience with BI platforms such as Hex, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Mode, or equivalent tools.
Nice to have
- Experience with Fivetran or equivalent managed ingestion platforms.
- Experience with Spark and distributed data processing.
- Familiarity with LLM-based analytics, context engineering, NLP, text analytics, AI data pipelines, and Data-Centric AI principles.
