Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern (Pharmacy)

Location: Miramar, Florida, United States; onsite at the Walmart Supercenter

Hourly wage: $20.50–$33.50 per hour

What you will do

• Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Support patient care by recognizing patient needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
• Maintain confidentiality of information, documentation, and records in line with company policies and applicable guidelines.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school is required.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Ability to respond to individual patient needs.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Nice to have

• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
