Senior AI Application Developer (AI)

Location: USA-WI-Corporate Headquarters; full-time, onsite role

What you will do

• Design and build enterprise AI applications using large language models.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation solutions using documents, manuals, tickets, ERP data, and knowledge bases.
• Build AI agents that reason, plan, and interact with tools, APIs, and workflows.
• Implement guardrails for prompt safety, data protection, hallucination mitigation, access control, and output validation.
• Integrate AI solutions with Salesforce, ERP platforms, data lakes, APIs, and internal applications.
• Prototype, productionize, monitor, evaluate, and optimize AI solutions while mentoring existing developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience and a strong software engineering background.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM platforms.
• Practical experience building RAG pipelines with vector databases and embedding models.
• Strong Python experience for AI development, including prompt engineering, versioning, and evaluation.
• Experience integrating AI services with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure, deployment, scaling, security concepts, and JSON, XML, and document-based data.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with AI safety controls, policy enforcement, and evaluation frameworks.
• Exposure to video, image, and other multimodal AI use cases.
• Enterprise experience with security, compliance, and change management.
• Experience mentoring or leading developers in new technical domains.
