Excess Flood Underwriter (Flood Insurance)

What you will do

• Evaluate new business, renewal, NPC, and CBRS Excess Flood quote submissions and provide quotes as appropriate.
• Monitor Excess Flood coverage, flood zone, premium, and aggregate limits to comply with binding authority.
• Verify agent property-casualty and surplus lines licensing.
• Set up NPC and CBRS policies and prepare monthly bordereaux reports.
• Process agent billing, monitor payments, and maintain policy files.
• Request and review open market quotes, debit notes, cover notes, and policies before release.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years of property and casualty insurance, customer service, or related experience.
• Property and casualty insurance license.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets, with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift 10–20 lbs. of files and/or boxes.
