What you will do

• Perform and review technical security assessments of computing environments, identify vulnerabilities and IA compliance gaps, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Represent security engineering on teams designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and integrating secure networking, computing, enclave, and IA architecture environments.
• Apply IA policies and procedures to design and implement secure systems and components.
• Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, and the enforcement of trusted relationships between external systems and architectures.
• Identify security requirements for handling Government data and interact with customers and project stakeholders.
• Support the transition and integration of HPC sustainment capabilities, including clusters, servers, parallel file systems, and high-speed network interconnects.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; the most recent polygraph must be within the last seven years.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and seven years of ISSE experience, or eleven years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, custom vendor-specific operating systems, high-speed shared storage, and low-latency network interconnects.
