Associate Principal, Security Engineering (AI)

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid work with up to 2 days per week of remote work

What you will do

• Provide 24x7 operational support for privileged access management solutions, including hot fixes, troubleshooting, break-fixes, secrets lifecycle management, and end-user support.
• Maintain the lifecycle, patching, version control, upgrades, and operational integrity of privileged access management infrastructure.
• Act as a subject matter expert on secrets management and privileged access management architecture.
• Establish and enforce security as code principles across the environment.
• Develop platform enhancements, automated integrations, and long-term solutions for operational issues.
• Implement AI-based capabilities for faster detection and remediation of functional and technical problems.

Requirements

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization systems, including Active Directory, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, AWS IAM, Kubernetes, LDAPS, Kerberos, and certificates.
• Working knowledge of cloud ecosystems and CI/CD deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of security architecture principles, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Expertise with one or more of CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, ADCS, HSMs, or PKI.
• Expertise in scripting or development with Go, Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience in security operations, development, engineering, or architecture, including privileged access management and access control programs.

Nice to have

• Professional or personal experience using AI coding agents such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or Gemini CLI.
