Senior Retail Analyst

Salary: USD 93,400–120,120 per year; bonus eligible

What you will do

• Analyze retail business and customer data to support recurring and ad hoc performance reviews.
• Manage store forecasting processes and improve data inputs, outputs, parameters, and assumptions.
• Analyze labor, shipments, returns, and other operational processes to detect anomalies and identify optimization opportunities.
• Deliver insights and recommendations on product performance, consumer behavior, marketing effectiveness, real estate selection, and pricing.
• Define success metrics and measurement frameworks, and create dashboards and visualizations to track performance.
• Collaborate with retail, real estate, finance, data engineering, and analytics stakeholders while advancing analytical techniques and technologies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience conducting in-depth business analysis and delivering actionable insights to operational partners and business leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics or equivalent experience.
• Experience with advanced analytics, including machine learning models, regression, clustering, decision trees, cohort and segmentation analysis, forecasting, and experimentation analysis.
• Technical proficiency in data extraction and transformation using query and coding languages, plus experience with data visualization and presentation tools.
• Ability to define measurement frameworks, communicate complex analysis to non-technical stakeholders, and present clear hypotheses, insights, and recommendations.
• Strong collaboration, analytical thinking, curiosity, and experience working across large organizations, preferably in retail.
