QA Technician (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Beloit, Wisconsin, USA; onsite, 3rd shift

Base rate: $22.50 per hour

hirify.global produces and manages a portfolio of established food and snack brands, including Campbell’s, Goldfish, Kettle Brand, Pepperidge Farm, Prego, Rao’s Homemade, and V8.

What you will do

• Monitor production processes and products using sensory, weight-control, and analytical methods.
• Evaluate raw materials, in-process products, finished goods, and supplier-produced items against quality specifications.
• Perform and document moisture, ingredient content, weight, color, FFA, salt, package fill, seal integrity, and other quality tests.
• Use laboratory and quality-assessment equipment and communicate non-compliance issues to production staff and supervisors.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections, sanitation verifications, and allergen-control checks after changeovers and before production start-up.
• Follow chemical-handling, hygiene, housekeeping, lifting, and personal-protection procedures; overtime and weekend work may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a basic mathematics skills test and apply strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer tools.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and perform standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing activities.
• Availability for 3rd-shift work, variable start times, overtime, weekend work, and off-shift coverage.

Nice to have

• At least one year of food manufacturing production or quality assurance experience.
