Technical Product Manager (Robotaxi) (AI/autonomous driving): Defining, developing, and delivering Level 4 autonomous driving features from concept through production deployment with an accent on embodied AI, end-to-end learning, safety, and customer experience. Focus on building scalable AV product strategies, translating deep technical innovation into market-ready capabilities, and coordinating engineering, validation, safety, OEM, and operational stakeholders.
Location: Yokohama / Tokyo, Japan; hybrid working from the office and home

What you will do
- Define and own the product roadmap for Level 4 autonomous driving features.
- Own AV feature development end to end, from concept definition through implementation, validation, and production deployment.
- Translate embodied AI and end-to-end learning innovations into market-ready features and capabilities.
- Collaborate with design, systems architecture, software engineering, validation, safety, commercial, OEM, and operational partners.
- Lead internal product reviews and external engagements while supporting verification and validation.
- Monitor autonomous vehicle trends, regulations, and competitors to inform product decisions.
Requirements
- Technical product management experience delivering products with a consumer mindset in a highly technical domain.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical background in AI/ML, software engineering, robotics, or a related discipline.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative environments with evolving priorities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup based in the Yokohama/Tokyo office area.
Nice to have
- Experience owning end-to-end delivery of autonomous driving features with engineering, systems, safety, and validation teams.
- Understanding of human-machine interaction, UX, or robotaxi products.
- Knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, or Software 2.0 methods applied to autonomous driving or large-scale simulation.
- Analytical and data-driven approach.
