Cash Application Analyst

What you will do

• Interface with customers worldwide by phone and email to resolve payment questions, missing documentation, and discrepancies.
• Download payment details and self-billing invoices, prepare and book bank statements daily, and assign customer deductions for verification.
• Offset credit and debit memos with chargebacks and report unapplied or on-account receipts weekly.
• Reconcile customer receivable balances and perform scheduled month-end activities.
• Work with internal departments to investigate issues and support reporting, tax and SOX audits, and other accounting projects.

Requirements

• University degree, such as a bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in accounts receivable, cash application, credit and collections, or general accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to analyze large datasets and payment transactions.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, time management, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ethical values, integrity, and accountability for goals and standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS and Oracle Apex.
• Experience in a shared service center or multinational environment.
• Knowledge of SOX controls, reconciliation processes, and financial compliance requirements.
