Sample Preparation Technician I

Location: Singapore

Salary: SGD 1,800–2,000 per month

International life sciences company providing analytical testing, laboratory, and contract research services across food, environmental, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and other industries.

What you will do

• Perform sample preparation tasks such as labeling, transferring, liquid nitrogen use, milling, blending, weighing, and sample disposal.
• Ensure sample homogeneity and communicate sample information, discrepancies, and customer service needs accurately.
• Handle internal customer inquiries and work with customer service coordinators to resolve client or sample issues.
• Apply GMP and GLP practices and conduct all activities safely and efficiently.
• Learn procedures involving larger equipment, basic maintenance and repairs, and work-order submission.
• Support improvement ideas and cross-training across food and dietary supplement preparation procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a role requiring strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of computers and good documentation skills.
• Strong accuracy, confidentiality, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs, resolve conflicts, learn new tasks, and solve problems efficiently.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
