Associate Analytical Chemist I (Chemistry)

Location: Singapore; full-time on-site laboratory work

What you will do

• Learn and conduct routine analytical testing in line with approved methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare samples, receive and register materials, maintain laboratory records, and document study data.
• Use laboratory equipment and software, perform equipment testing and calibration, and identify abnormalities in testing and results.
• Learn to perform peer review of data and quality officer duties for the assigned section.
• Plan daily workloads, schedule multiple assignments, and coordinate activities with laboratory team members.
• Support the Lab Manager and Senior Chemist while maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment.

Requirements

• Diploma, advanced/higher/graduate diploma, bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, or professional degree in Chemistry, Science, or an equivalent field.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Ability to work with operational and scientific personnel and department management.
• Willingness to work with potentially hazardous materials and use personal protective equipment.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, work in a laboratory hood and at a bench, and work overtime or weekends when required.
