Failure Analysis RMA Manager

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Review customer product-return requests, determine eligibility, and issue RMA numbers for approved returns.
• Administer RMA processing for customers and provide clear updates on return status, replacements, and refunds.
• Build product expertise and guide engineering teams through failure analysis and technical report writing.
• Coordinate with customers and Applications Engineering on technical quality issues.
• Mine data and publish RMA performance reports covering PPM and cycle time to closure.
• Work with factory quality and manufacturing teams to implement corrective and preventive actions and improve product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; a BSEE is preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in a technical failure-analysis role within an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong organization and program-management skills across multiple technical operations activities.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate with managers and department heads.
