Maintenance Area Manager - Reliability Excellence (Industrial Automation)

Location: Reading, Pennsylvania, United States; full-time on-site role.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop Reliability Engineers, Reliability Technicians, Automation Technicians, and other technical staff.
• Establish an Automation Center of Excellence focused on defect elimination, obsolescence management, training, and scalable automation output.
• Partner with the Digital Team to implement generative AI and machine learning technologies supporting digital and automation transformation.
• Lead predictive technologies, reliability data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action plans, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
• Manage asset governance, asset and spare-parts master data, MRO inventory requirements, CMMS processes, and user training.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive cross-functional organizational, cultural, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in reliability or maintenance engineering; leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of reliability methodologies including RCM, FMEA, PdM, and RCA.
• Deep technical knowledge of industrial automation and controls, including HMI, PLC, and VFD systems.
• Experience implementing and managing CMMS/EAM systems and condition-monitoring technologies.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change in an industrial environment, with strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
