Lead Automotive Technician (Automotive)

Location: Concord, North Carolina, United States; onsite

Salary: USD 35–60 per hour

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles across all makes and models.
• Perform complete, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Troubleshoot customer concerns with other technicians and the service department.
• Manage shop workflow, meet deadlines, and maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization standards.
• Communicate repair needs effectively and mentor other technicians.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Strong automotive diagnostic and repair skills for all makes and models.
• Leadership ability to manage shop workflow and mentor technicians.
• Strong investment in tools and the ability to flag 40+ hours per week as needed.
• Ability to lift or move over 50 pounds, work under raised vehicles and in tight spaces, and stand or walk for most of the workday.
• Ability to drive manual-transmission vehicles and efficiently use computers.

Nice to have

• ASE certification.
• L1 A-Level Technician qualification.
