Senior Associate, Structuring (Structured Finance)

Location: Addison, TX; Montpelier, VT; or New York, NY. Onsite work is required four days per week on Monday through Thursday.

Salary: $165,000–$242,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Structure and execute internal feeder funds, CLOs, warehouses, and related financing vehicles.
• Manage outstanding vehicles, including compliance monitoring, covenant testing, waterfalls, reporting, amendments, resets, and refinancings.
• Build cashflow models covering waterfalls, coverage tests, reinvestment mechanics, and rating-agency stress scenarios.
• Lead rating-agency processes, surveillance, agency presentations, and support agency selection.
• Partner with Direct Lending and Asset-Based Finance teams, counsel, arrangers, trustees, service providers, and external managers.
• Prepare performance analytics, financing strategy analysis, and materials for the Investment Committee and senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3–7 years of experience with CLOs, feeder funds, ABS, or other structured vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of structured-credit documentation, capital structures, covenants, coverage tests, and ratings processes.
• Ability to build full cashflow models and replicate rating-agency methodologies and stress cases.
• Proficiency with Excel, Intex, Python, and SQL.
• Strong organization, communication, independent problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree and/or CFA.
• Experience with middle-market loans, private credit, asset-based collateral, or insurance general-account investing.
• Knowledge of NAIC designations, statutory capital, RBC treatment, and accounting implications.
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar data platforms.
