Tax Manager

Location: IND KL Kochi, India; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Advise clients on corporate, partnership, individual, and trust and estate tax services.
• Define tax service objectives, scope, and methodology while communicating with client management to identify tax solutions.
• Oversee the calculation and analysis of tax strategies and support delivery to clients.
• Manage and review federal, foreign, state, and local tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions.
• Develop client relationships through ongoing service, networking, and business development activities.
• Mentor, coach, and supervise Tax Seniors and Staff while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree with a major in accounting.
• US CPA or CA (ICAI) qualification.
• At least six years of experience in US taxation.
• Previous public accounting firm experience and proficiency in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation.
• At least two years of experience supervising and training team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, teamwork, and client engagement skills; willingness to work overtime when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with large, multi-state, internationally active middle-market clients.
