What you will do

• Monitor cyber threats and support Security Operations Center activities, including security service requests and risk escalation.
• Manage security operations documentation, standard operating procedures, performance metrics, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance reporting.
• Participate in cybersecurity technology projects, lifecycle management, secure cloud and third-party application integration, and IT initiatives.
• Support patch and vulnerability management and facilitate third-party penetration testing.
• Advise employees on security policies and contribute to cybersecurity awareness campaigns, including phishing simulations.
• Assess internal and third-party cybersecurity risks, review SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 reports, and coordinate audit engagements.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of related experience in security operations, network security, vulnerability management, compliance, or audit.
• An associate degree in computer science or a related field is required, combined with cybersecurity certifications and additional experience; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple security domains, common security controls, cybersecurity best practices, and standards such as NIST, ISO, CIS, or COBIT.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity infrastructure such as firewalls, intrusion detection, antivirus, PKI, and encryption.
• Experience with security incident response, malware analysis, hacking techniques, and countermeasures.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, incidents, and changing priorities while working independently and collaboratively.
