Senior Data and Application Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in St. Inigoes, Maryland, with a teleworking opportunity; U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance are required.

Salary: $150,000–$225,000 per year, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Develop data engineering, data automation, automated data mapping, and enterprise application capabilities.
• Design and deliver secure, scalable, modular platform architectures for DoD data automation and AI model deployment.
• Lead multidisciplinary hardware, software, AI, and data engineering teams.
• Optimize technology platforms, automate processes, and expand data analytics capabilities through pipelines and software applications.
• Lead EPAD development projects from concept through execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, product, supply chain, and operations teams, while leading training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• Expert experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR, and/or JWICS platform engineering and architecture.
• 3–5+ years of DoD experience in large-scale data engineering, data automation, and application development, including Advana and classified network environments.
• Experience developing secure, scalable, reliable data and application products for continuous DoD platform operations.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in DoD operating environments.
• Proficiency with Foundry, Qlik, Tableau, Python, SQL, Apache Spark, Java, R, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• U.S. citizenship, eligibility for classified information, and an active Top Secret security clearance are required.
