Front-End Developer (Angular)

Location: Bethesda, Maryland; all work must be performed within the United States

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and support dynamic Angular applications with complex data flows.
• Build extensible search interfaces, responsive mobile-friendly applications, and data visualizations.
• Implement and maintain dynamic state-management infrastructure and clean, sustainable code.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, cross-functional collaboration, and code reviews.
• Write targeted automated tests using Cypress, Selenium, and other testing frameworks.
• Engage with clients, research technologies, and recommend solutions throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience delivering resilient, well-tested code.
• Expertise with HTML, SCSS, Material, TypeScript, and frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3, Chart.js, or Plotly.
• Experience with software testing, the full Software Development Life Cycle, Git, REST APIs, CI/CD, and DevOps platforms.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal government or large enterprise systems.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, sensitive-data systems, data-heavy applications, or workflow-driven applications.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
• Experience in multi-vendor, multi-team environments.
• Strong interest in user experience, accessibility, and familiarity with .NET, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Java.
