What you will do

• Develop cash flow and credit models for consumer, small business, and hard asset investments.
• Underwrite and execute whole loans and credit facilities.
• Build financial models and evaluate investment cases and deal structures, including loan portfolios and ABS tranches.
• Interact with investors, communicate fund strategies and performance, and prepare investor presentations.
• Support due diligence of loan originators, including emerging private fintech companies.
• Price and model securitizations using Intex and in-house Python and Excel models.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of Tier 1 buy-side or sell-side experience in investment banking, securitization banking, asset-based finance, ABS portfolio management, or asset-based lending.
• Extensive trading experience using Intex and interacting with the street.
• Extensive experience in securitization markets and analyzing specialty finance companies and their assets.
• Excellent technical proficiency in Excel and VBA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a resourceful, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated approach.
• Must already have the right to work in the United Kingdom without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Quantitative degree in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, computer science, or another quantitative discipline.
• Database and programming skills.
