Medical Science Liaison, Europe (Structural Heart)

Location: Signy, Switzerland. Full-time role with approximately 50% travel to meet stakeholders, attend conferences, and support clinical research.

What you will do

• Serve as a medical and scientific expert for the Interventional Technologies business unit, including Structural Heart, Electrophysiology, and Vascular Closure.
• Build strategic relationships with cardiology and interventional medicine key opinion leaders and gather insights on clinical practices and trends.
• Provide scientific education to internal teams and external stakeholders, identifying training needs and developing educational programs.
• Attend medical congresses, review clinical literature, and analyze competitive developments to share current scientific insights.
• Support clinical trials by collaborating with investigators to select and initiate sites and facilitate studies demonstrating product safety and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field; an MD or PhD is preferred.
• 5–10 years of clinical, research, or scientific experience, ideally including MSL or related field experience in MedTech.
• Mandatory expertise in Vascular Closure, Structural Heart, or Electrophysiology; Vascular Closure expertise is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of interventional technologies, clinical practices, regulatory frameworks, and scientific methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for KOL relationship-building and presentation of complex scientific information.

Nice to have

• Advanced scientific degree such as an MD or PhD.
• Background in teaching or training.
